Roles and Responsibilities

  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability on macOS platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure bug-free software delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest macOS technologies and integrate new tools and frameworks as needed.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in macOS application development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality macOS applications to the App Store.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for macOS.

Skills

  • Expertise in Swift and Objective-C for macOS development.
  • Proficiency with Xcode, Interface Builder, and macOS SDKs.
  • Experience with Core Data, Core Animation, and other macOS frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
