Roles and Responsibilities

As an Android Software Engineer at App Jeevan, you will play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle of our mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on developing high-quality, scalable Android apps that meet our users' needs. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams such as designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into robust code.

• Design and Develop Android Applications: Architect and implement new features for our wellness apps, ensuring they are optimized for performance and battery efficiency on a wide range of devices.
• Code Review and Optimization: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, and optimize existing codebases for better speed and reliability.
• Integration and Testing: Integrate third-party APIs and services, such as health data APIs from Google Fit or Firebase, and perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure bug-free releases.
• User Experience Enhancement: Work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive interfaces, incorporating Material Design principles and ensuring accessibility for all users.
• Collaboration and Agile Practices: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile framework, contributing ideas to improve team processes and product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Android app development, with a proven track record of shipping successful applications to the Google Play Store.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Android architecture components, including Activities, Fragments, Services, and Broadcast Receivers.
