Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Android Applications: Create intuitive and responsive mobile apps using Android Studio, ensuring compatibility across various devices and OS versions. This includes implementing user interfaces with XML and Jetpack Compose, and optimizing app performance for smooth operation.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to integrate features and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. Participate in agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Code Maintenance and Optimization: Write clean, maintainable code in Java and Kotlin, conduct code reviews, and refactor existing codebases to improve efficiency and scalability. Implement best practices for memory management and battery optimization.
• Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing using tools like Espresso and JUnit. Identify and fix bugs, ensuring apps are stable and crash-free before release.
• App Deployment and Updates: Handle the publication of apps on Google Play Store, manage version control with Git, and monitor user feedback to implement timely updates and enhancements.
• Stay Updated with Trends: Research emerging Android technologies, such as Material Design updates and new SDK features, to incorporate innovative elements into our apps.
• Security Implementation: Ensure apps adhere to security protocols, including data encryption, secure authentication, and compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Android app development, with a portfolio of published apps on the Google Play Store.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Android architecture components, including Activities, Fragments, Services, and Broadcast Receivers.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
• Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in documenting code and technical specifications.
• Team Player: Proven track record of working in collaborative environments, adapting to feedback, and mentoring junior developers.
